- FastROM is an MMU tool for A500 and A2000 users which improves overall
- system performance by mapping the OS ROM into fast 32 bit memory. It is
- intended to replace tools such as SetCPU and CPU, which are incompatible
- with the FastECS video driver.
-
- A3000 owners should not use FastROM, since the processor already has
- 32 bit access to the OS ROM on this machine. It would be a waste of memory.
-
- Usage is simple. Just copy FastROM into the C: directory, and then edit the
- s:Startup-Sequence file so that FastROM is run immediately after PrepareEmul.
- Make sure to remove any other MMU tools such as "CPU FASTROM" or the like.
